On this first day, it is of utmost importance to know that you are a true Christian. This is not a "choice" you can make. It is a decision of God. If, after today, you are not absolutely sure that you are saved from your sin, then repent and believe in the gospel. Read the scriptures and cry out to God. When you have been so moved by the power of God that you now hate the things that God hates, and love the things that God loves, you will know there is a genuine change.
Prepare your heart for this message. It is powerful. Listen to it all the way through, and if necessary, listen to it again. Without being saved, none of the rest of this matters. He justified me and is sanctifying me. The Gospel changes lives.
My hope is in Him, and without Him, I would have none.
